Jesse Binnall, one of Trump’s lawyers for the election “fraud” cases and now suing CNN on behalf of Nazi pervert Mark Robinson:
“According to IRS records, Binnall owes the U.S. government for unpaid taxes dating back to 2010. The IRS filed a $139,242 lien against Binnall almost four years ago—in August 2018— and it covers unpaid amounts every tax year from 2010 to 2015. Records on file with the City of Alexandria, VA, show that, as of May 5, Binnall has not paid off the lien.” https://www.thedailybeast.com/top-trump-lawyer-jesse-binnall-is-a-longtime-tax-deadbeat |

We can expect more of this if Trump wins this fall.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/10/07/vance-messages-deloitte-retaliation/ Ethics experts said the episode is a potentially ominous preview of how a second Trump administration might use the enormous power the federal government wields over private industry to punish political acts by individual workers. Although federal contracting laws prohibit cutting off a business because of its workers’ private political views, such threats could have a chilling effect, they said. “I’ve never seen anything like this,” said Kedric Payne, senior director of ethics at the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center and former deputy chief counsel in the Office of Congressional Ethics, adding that the goal was probably to pressure Deloitte into firing the worker. “You can’t imagine that if one employee out of thousands made a statement that offended an official, that then the government contracts would be in jeopardy.” Trump will use the bully pulpit to coerce corporations just as he chose his support of disaster relief based on how a state voted. Authoritarianism at its finest. And crickets from the right. |
