RHONY Season 10

Yeah, it doesn't ring true. Firstly, it's great that Richard was great. But being married to someone great doesn't mean YOU are great.

I have no idea what it is like to lose a spouse. Zero. Relatives, yes. Been to my share of family funerals and spoke at them and known some widows/widowers. That aside something else is going on with Dorinda. She and Richard were married for 5/6 years and he has been gone nearly 7. I suspect she doesn't foresee having another power husband or companion. Both of her husbands were smart, moneyed cosmopolitan men. John seems nice and into her, but he isn't that guy. From the cheap seats, she and Sonja are a lot alike except Sonja talks about partying in St. Tropez whereas Dorinda talks about life with Richard. They both miss their more glamorous jetset life.

Luann told her daughter she looked sexy. Putting aside the fact that her daughter needed to brush her hair, is it appreciate to use that adjective?

Oh, please. Victoria is what, 25? A college graduate, an artist, a New Yorker. "Sexy" is a term used in even the most innocuous fashion outlets. In this context, it was about her overall fashion "look," not "go get some 2nite grl yeah."

Sorry, I disagree.

Why are you sorry?

It is a kind way to phrase the response. You’ve probably be on these boards too long so it confused you.

Why is it kind to apologize for your opinions and feelings, which are valid even though they differ from someone else's?

If you really need it spelled out:

I’m sorry but I have to disagree with you...”

NP. You don't sound insufferable at all just FYI.

Tinsley is so stupid. Who lives in a hotel long term?

I'm confused- why is Carole surprised that Adam dated someone else, while she keeps denying they have any relationship other than sleeping together? And she claims no one would be hurt, so they aren't 'friends with benefits'. Please.
And I still cannot understand how she is friends with Tinsley. I guess they both just have unlimited free time, thus the friendship.

Denial. Methinks Carole fell for Adam much harder than she let on even though she played it cool for the cameras and referenced their inevitable expiration date due to their age difference. Also, Lu's original beef with Carole was that Adam and her niece were still dating when he and Carole got together and Carole insisted that her niece and Adam were no longer a couple. Oops, he did it again! Maybe Lu was right and now the role of Lu's niece is being played by Carole. Despite their "arrangementship" Adam found another. Wonder if he told this new woman that he and Carole aren't together anymore.

Actually, Adam went with Carole on that present-day trip (to Dubai) that someone mentioned above. Scott was with Tinsley, and John was with Dorinda.

Glad you liked it. This one is a bit darker.

Inside the Downfall of Tinsley Mortimer
Where did it all go wrong?

When I had a broken leg last year, I binge-watched the 8 episodes of a 2010 reality show called “High Society.” It was one of those trainwreck shows you can’t look away from. Tinsley and her sister (Dabney, can you stand it?) actually came off a lot better than most of the other wretched “socialites” on the show, but of course, Tinsley was the executive producer...

I saw this and I’m guessing this is how Dorinda came to the conclusions in her blog. The three of them are in an echo chamber telling each other how mean and horrible Behenny is.

For Dorinda to watch that episode and respond he way she has (she also tweeted something hateful about LuAnn) is just flat out tone deaf. If you’re new allies are Tinz, Carole, and freaking Ramona, you know you’ve picked a rough path.

Luann's daughter has the giant bloated head/jowls of her father and the height/shoulders/mannishness/stompy swagger walk of her mother. She really did inherit the worst of both. Having said that, I found it funny she was saying Tom wasn't a hugger- because like the PP stated- he was hugging ALL women on social media... he probably made it a point not to hug his wife's daughter because he lacks the boundary in NOT being a creep to women of childbearing age and didn't want to tip Luann or her radar.

I'm also appalled when people make rotten choices, then later say they don't regret them! ... That's part of the problem with people like them- sometimes regrets keep you morally on track. NOT having regrets isn't always honorable or self-actualized. Luann doesn't regret marrying Tom- really? That regret would be appropriate.

Re: Bethenny- I feel like she was buzzed when she showed up- eyes a little overly shiny, a little intense/chatty... but she was still appropriate. I think like with Sonja, it would be prudent for Bethenny (being involved in her liquor label) to step away and not be a part of her irresponsible drinking. Dorinda really has no leg to stand on to cast aspersions to Bethenny's motives because this makes NEITHER of them look good. Who knows if she was like this when married to Richard? It might not be a new problem. I found it interesting in that cabin coupon ad that kept airing that each woman was in front of her bf... except Dorinda was far from John... breakup? Or the fact that he's a hot sweaty greasy shiny f*ck near whom she did not want to be, especially in a 'small elevator' setup.

Sonja- I cringed throughout her walk through of her (rotting) home. It is her biggest asset and does make sense for her to rent it so she has some income... but she'd better spend that WHOLE RHW cheque on fixing it up, and then some. She has this impression that her 'well lived in' home is chic and desirable. It looks like it smells like dog sh !t. If she were a man, it would be #metoo for the way she treated that photographer. Leave men alone, Sonja. They will let you know if they are into you.

Ramona- the GLEAM in her eye as she poked and prodded around the carcass of Carole and Bethenny's relationship... was unholy...plus, wtf she appeared to have duck nails (literally the trashiest shape ever) when she was having her manicure- yuck!!

Carole- is finally looking her age with the shorter ashier hair, but looking older is making her look younger. She looks prettier, plus her face is looking chubbier/filled and for now it's working.

I lived in a hotel for a little over half a year when I was in high school.

I have watched every episode of this show from Season 1 on, I'm sad to admit. And I honestly and truly think I'm done. I didn't watch last week for the Dorinda drunk scene. Read a few recaps. Didn't watch last night. It's just stopped being fun. I can't stand any of them. To a person, they are awful. And I always really liked Bethenny, but she is barely recognizable anymore.

What in the hell is wrong with me?!?! RHONY, I think I'm quitting you.

I quit all the other Real Housewife franchises and didn't watch the non-Bethenny seasons of RHONY but I'm back on board with it. It will get fun again.
