How do you know you’re not being abducted? How does it differ from human trafficking?

I don’t think they are all federal agents. Some of the vehicles don’t even have government plates. They have regular state plates.

That’s typical for federal law enforcement. My DH is a federal LEO and his work vehicle has plain Virginia plates. We don’t live in Virginia.

How would someone know he’s legit?

If he was out doing something (vs in the office) he’d be (God willing) wearing a plate carrier that says POLICE and his agency on it. Otherwise, he wears a badge on his hip, but it is covered by his shirt, which is required to conceal his firearm. He works for a plain clothes agency.

These morons calling themselves ICE are doing none of these things.

ICE agents wear badges. In every video I’ve seen, they either have those badges visible from the beginning or make it visible at the time of approaching the arrestee. If you have an example to the contrary, I’d be interested in seeing it.

Look up the video of the Tufts student arrest.

Look at the video posted upthread. They were in plainclothes. When they reached the woman, they unzipped their jackets and showed their badges.
