I’m 51 also. We are finally the target audience for stuff since we’re in our peak earning years.

Temu is a Chinese retailer that ships direct to customers. The reason they ship direct to customer vs. setting up warehouses in the U.S. is so their shipments get into the U.S. under de minimus rules and thus aren't subject to inspection for containing slave-made goods. Not to mention, they're yet another Chinese app on U.S. consumers' phones. Yes, other retailers rely on Chinese supply chains and Amazon has tons of Chinese made crap on their sites, but Temu and Shein's business models are intentionally set to take advantage of exemptions in U.S. laws.

My 16yo DD said she Was surprised that Temu could afford a SB commercial because everything they sell is so cheap,
