I agree with you, but still don't quite get what she gets out of this relationship (I am firmly in the "this is fake and orchestrated by PR camp) because while she of course wants more fans and more money, I'm not sure dating Kelce gets them for her? She's just way higher profile than he is. And I already know enough middle-America, football-loving guys who have bought Taylor Swift albums and tickets because their wives/girlfriends/daughters are obsessed with her. I don't think this moves the needle really.
My super-conspiracy theory is that there is some horse trading going on with publicists and other entities, where Taylor agrees to this fake relationship with Kelce to help boost his star,
and then Taylor gets something tangible she wants, like a major licensing deal or something. Like maybe Kelce himself can't offer her much, but the people who are invested in his success might have something to offer her.
