There was an amber alert for 3 missing kids last night. A stranger abducted 3 kids in a car.

Except the kids weren't in the car. The kids were with the mom, who lied and told police that the carjacker had her kids so that they would look for her stolen car.

I think this has happened before where the driver makes up a crazy story so the police try harder to find his car.
