Do have a bag/suitcase packed and ready in case of fire or flooding before storms?

I never have done this before but it seems like a good idea.

No. Where would one go anyway? The advice is not to go outside. I don't have a car; many of us in DC don't. Metro is closed. So I suppose this would be like a Katrina scenario. C'est la vie.

OMG, O{, we have survived hurricanes before! This is not the end of the world!

The only time I've had an emergency bag ready is right after 9-11. If a storm is coming, I am not about to leave my house unless I absolutely have to, and in that case, either it's so destroyed that I don't care about packing stuff, or the power has been out for days and I'm still able to pack.

Relax and take a deep breath, OP.

I always have a small fanny pack by the door containing:
1. My passport
2. My dildo
3. My bible
4. My glock 9mm.
