If you are concerned that PEPCO may be paying more attention to its shareholders than its customers, I suggest you visit www.packuppepco.com.

Also, rumor has it that Pepco does not have enough linemen even for regular outages, never mind big storms. So, when the big storms come, other utilities are not quick to send lineman because they can't get comparable support from Pepco when they need it. I've only heard this annecdotally, so I am in no position to confirm.
