She's big all over with no birthed baby recently. I thought she looked like a real cop. But it's not normal for her it look like something is wrong |

| Sorry to hijack but obviously this thread will attract SVU watchers. I haven't watched tonight's episode yet, but last week at the end of the episode it kind of seemed like they might have been suggesting a lesbian vibe between Benson and that terrorist cop chick. Despite all evidence to the contrary Benson has been portrayed as straight all these years and I was wondering if they are going in a different direction...? Or maybe it was just drinks. Anyone else pick up on this? |

I watched last week, (and just finished watching this weeks.) and I didn't get that vibe at all... I think it's just drinks.. but I dunno, we'll see I guess.

| If you watched L & O Criminal Intent you'd have a different impression of that drinks scene. The terrorist cop used to be the partner of the Vince D'Onofrio character on that show. When they were sitting around talking about partners, that was sort of an inside joke. Both Olivia and that female cope had really intense work relationships with their former male partner. |

Poor thing had a collapsed lung about a few years ago. Among other health problems. Probably has taken a toll on her.
In late December 2008, Hargitay suffered a partially collapsed lung after taking a fall during a stunt on the set of SVU. She underwent surgery in January and returned to work shortly after.[34] On March 3, 2009, she was hospitalized after suffering chest pains related to the injury. It was disclosed that she would probably need more surgery.[35] Despite this, she missed only one episode on SVU's tenth season.[36] She is also 48, give her a break. |

| I agree with 22:45. In the drink scene, they are realizing that they both had had intense relationships - much like a marriage - with their partners . . . and had that in common. Remember when Eames (terrorist cop chick) was interrogating someone and she was doing all the D'Onofrio head tricks? My daughter caught that before I did. And she later said she"learned from the best". I think they were just realizing that they both had had "marriages" with their partners and that both male partners had "left" them . . .and they were left sitting in the bar alone, no husband, no family, no children. At least that was our takeaway |

Well, this thread is pretty shameful. Mariska Hartigay is what we used to call a stunningly handsome woman. I would call her that now, actually. Yes she is 48 and she looks better than all of the ugly comments on this thread. She just adopted a baby girl last year:

I assume it is just your insecurity and self-hatred coming out, so, I should probably actually pity you and your small mindedness. Hartigay, the daughter of sex symbol actress, Jane Mansfield, was 3 1/2 years old and sitting in the back seat of the car when it crashed, decapitating her mother and killing her instantly. Hartigay suffered minor injuries. (so I imagine she had a pretty good view of her mom's head). |

| for the record..her mom was not decapitated. I am saying this as she clarified this in an interview and said it bothers her that this myth is still going around. Her mom had a wig on that flew off in the accident. FYI--love her and think it's wonderful that she has been able to expand her family. I also loved her late stepfather..good man! |
