| Looking for a church in mont co that has some younger families (parents in their 30's). We are episcopalian but we've been to Presbyterian church before and enjoyed it. |
| Where in Montgomery County? On the east side, two Episcopalian churches to consider are Grace (on Georgia, gothic building, slightly larger congregation, very liberal) and Good Shepherd (on University, nice modern building, also very liberal). For Presbyterian churches, I'm familiar with Takoma Park Presbyterian, on Tulip and Maple, very liberal as you would probably guess. |
| Not OP, but I'm in Rockville. Any recommendations for a Presbyterian/Methodist church? Would like something with a good family mix and youth program. |
| Have you tried Christ Episcopal? It has a good number of younger families with kids because it has a school. |
Bethesda United Methodist Church. We haven't been going very long, but they've been very welcoming in a no-pressure way. |

Gaithersburg Presbyterian has a lot of young families and is not far from you.
|
Yep! I'm a member and have a young family. There are other young families there and a pastor assigned to support young families. There is a young families retreat every year, potlucks throughout the year, and an ornament decorating party in December. We love it there. Our oldest just started Sunday school. Please come for a visit! |

Bradley Hills Presbyterian has a growing number of families - we had to add more church school teachers this year to accomodate all the children.
We have a Christmas pageant your kids could be a part of - even if you are not confirmed members - and it is followed by a potluck/carol singalong. We have found it to be a very warm, welcoming congregation. |
| St. James Episcopal (address is Potomac but it's more like Rockville) has a lot of young families because there is a daycare/preschool associated with it. Nice, welcoming congregation with a good mix of ages. |
Thanks so much! I'm the OP and will look into the ones suggested!

We're at Christ Episcopal and love it. The youth/Christian education director is amazing. |
| St. Paul's United Methodist church in Kensington is a great church with many young families. Wonderful place. |
