Working hours and vacations

Since this is a town full of overachievers working long hours, I was curious about how long folks have worked without taking a vacation. If it was a long time, why? What's the longest vaca you have taken? And what's the earliest and latest you have arrived at and left from work?

I've worked as much as 6 months without a vacation day and have never carried over more than 3 days of vacation time from one year to the next in my 25 years of employment. My longest vacation was 2 weeks.

I've had the rare day where I arrived at 5 and left after 9pm. I've also had days where I get in at 9:30 and leave at 5.

I'm not much of an overachiever.

I've worked close to a year without a real vacation (but took fed holidays) to save up for maternity leave. Got in around 6 and left at 4:30am but only once. When I go on vacation it's usually for two weeks because family lives on another continent. I don't work that hard generally.
