I've tried the Biore brand, CVS generic for sensitive skin, and now Burts Bees. Every time I use a wipe on my face, it stings like crazy! I am pregnant but not sure what is causing them to sting (i.e. which ingredient) or if there is a brand that is super gentle.
TIA. |
| what are you using it for? |

Makeup removal.

| I would try washing your face using cetaphil and see if that is sufficient. You can soap it up in a washcloth. |

I'd guess it is the alcohol.
I've heard recommendations to use sensitive skin baby wipes as makeup removers. Cheaper and gentler. I have not tried it myself though. I'm usually OK with the Olay ones, but only use them when traveling. But when I run out of those, I might see if we still have some baby wipes around the house. |
I've also been having this problem lately. I've recently switched to Aveeno, and it's much better. I'm so lazy I've gotten used to using the wipes and don't feel like going back to just plain face wash.

OP here. Thanks for the suggestions. I actually went to CVS looking for eye makeup remover wipes, because that is really all I need but I couldn't find any so I had to buy the facial wipes.
I'll try cleanser and baby wipes. |
