spilled water on wood floor

My toddler spilled quite a lot of water on our wood floor and I didn't notice it for a few minutes. The wood now looks a little discolored and bumpy - can anyone suggest any home remedies to fix this?

real wood? We've spilled water on wood, and it's never discolored or turned bumpy. |

| May not be real wood but a laminate. I would blow dry it to make sure it's thoroughly dried out. |
