new to the forum... implantation pain?

Anonymous
I've upgraded my membership from lurker to poster since I am apparently newly preggo.

Saw the dr. for localized cramping, not knowing I was pregnant. She suggested my cramps could be related to ovulation or a cyst. But a test showed a faint line, which she said indicates early pregnancy and I forgot to ask again about the cramps!

Has anyone had cramping like this, early into the pregnancy? Based on my calculations, I guess I would be 4 weeks.

Yes. Yes. Yes! Your uterus might be stretching a bit, it might be implantation. All I know is I had cramping all throughout the first trimester.

Congrats!

I had some pain and some bleeding called implantation bleeding. It didn't really feel like cramps, just a weird, unpleasant, short-lived feeling. And the blood.

I had the same thing. It was very weird, because it happened before I knew I was pregnant, and I thought to myself, "could this mean I'm pregnant?" A few days later, found out I was.

That was the telltale sign that I was pregnant in all of my pregnancies. Usually happened around 11 DPO. congrats

Yes, I had the same thing. Thought they were late menstual cramps.

I had such bad cramps I was convinced my pregnancy was ectopic. I went in for an ultrasound and it was not ectopic, thank goodness, just normal first trimester cramping. It will likely go away.
