Daycare breakfast

What does your daycare provide for breakfast and what do you pay (week or month) for this privilege?

One daycare we attended served cold cereal. Secomd daycare does not provide breakfast, just morning snack. I think no breakfast is typical in our area.

All meals and snacks are included in our monthly tuition. Breakfast is cereal 2 days per week, hot breakfast 3 days per week (French toast, pancakes, and English muffins). Fruit is served with breakfast every morning (usually fresh fruit, but canned fruit in fruit juice is served when fresh fruit is out of season or unavailable).

Similar to this. A variety of breakfasts, including fruit at each meal. No clue how this impacts cost because it's not optional.

Mine provided breakfast, lunch and snack. Cost for tuition was (and still is) $220 per week.

+1. In-home provider charged $230/wk including breakfast, lunch and two snacks. Breakfast varied between oatmeal, cold cereal, or waffles/french toast/pancakes.

Preschool now provides a morning snack for those kids that arrive before 9am, but makes clear that they expect the kids to eat breakfast at home. It might be a mini bagel wtih cream cheese or oatmeal or cereal or toast and a banana. Still breakfast food, but smaller snack-size portions.

The price is depends on location not on breakfast or lunch or snacks. We cannot compere prices in Germantown and Bethesda.

Breakfast and lunch are included, not optional. We pay $325 a month in Alexandria. I am happy breakfast is included. DS drags ass in the morning, and never wants to eat anything at home.

Everyone already gave you answers as to what is for breakfast. I am no longer sure what more you need. No one one here said they get cherrios everyday and several gave you a detaile overview. What more do you need?

Of course, you can compere what ever you want. Every good daycare/preschool serve hot breakfast, because it is the most important meal of the day for kids. They learn/play much better after good(hot) breakfast. And it should be included in price. The price by itself depends on many things.
