People said Romney "won" the first debate...how is this one comparing? Are the two candidates performing similarly as they did in the 1st debate? Is Obama doing better this time around than he did the first time? |
Night and day. Obama is much much better. |
Obama is very much better. Hammered Romney in the first half hour. |
Good. Is Romney the same, or worse or better? |
both guys are so arrogant |
Obama is much perkier. For at least part of the first one he looked like he had been awake for 36 hours and was just trying to form coherent sentences. |
Same idiotic unrealistic answers as the first time. All talk, not way of explaining how to get there. |
Romney was better in first, IMHO. He doesn't convey personable when answering audience questions tonight. Obama much better - he sucked last time (and I'm a supporter!) |
Obama, "absent" the first time, is now very much present, in body language and voice.
Romney made the smart choice of having a more conversational, persuasive voice because he knew it would be a good foil against Obama coming out swinging. I can't judge who's winning, because the Democratic policies always seem so much more reasonable than the Republican ones, no matter who's spitting them out. |
Agree on both points... |
This format is so bad. Obama is alert and present in a way he wasn't during the 1st debate. That's a good thing. But this format diminishes him. Having to ask Candy about his time, interrupting, bickering with Romney - all of these things make Obama seem small. Gone is the larger than life figure. |
I think Romney is coming across as smug and out of touch. He looks so preppy and rich. |
I think Romney's tone sounds creepy |
He IS creepy! |
Racist |
