Funding for this company started under Bush. But, of course it's all Obama's fault.
|
The company received a $249 million Department of Energy grant three years ago with high hopes that it would help foster a U.S. battery industry. At the time, the country was far behind the world leaders, Korea and China. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5hmY_CO-lqhHjo4OgDuzv5bZnBsWw?docId=3f2e2787ac3f478ab96f9fb2b7fac279 |
True, but the company received an earlier DOE grant during the Bush Administration. So, again, this is obviously all Obama's fault. |
Correct, but, come on, there is a big difference between one President awarding a DOE grant and another attempting to create green jobs in order to fulfill his Presidential platform and falling short. Obama supported green jobs. Investors benefitted and we got high carbon-footprint jobs in Detroit instead. Please. |
Where are the government funded green technology successes |
