Toddler Soft-Soled Shoe Quality

Anonymous
Hi. I have a nearly 17 month-old daughter who is a fairly new walker, but she mostly walks now as opposed to crawling or being held. Anyway, before she was walking so much she had a pair of Pedipeds that held up fabulously. Obviously, since she didn't walk a lot, this is not surprising. She now has a pair of Umi shoes that are adorable but seem to be looking ragged now and honestly started to show wear fairly early. We got them a few months ago so now she needs a new pair even though her feet have not grown much. She has tiny feet. A salesperson at Nordstrom told me that all soft-soled shoes would wear about the same, but I wanted to know other people's experiences. Should I just expect them to be completely ragged after a few weeks?
Thanks!

Robeez last quite a while.

Our pedipeds lasted three months- but she rotated between three pairs. She outgrew them before 2 of the 3 grew ragged. We bought a pair of Riley Roos and they already are wearing a bit on the bottoms (in ~ 3 weeks). BTW, DD is 16 + months and walking since 11 mo.
