For the 2009-10 academic year, Maret School will enroll new students in the 6th grade in addition to enrolling new students in our more traditional 7th grade entry point. Please contact the Admission Office, information below, to receive an admission packet and to schedule a tour and an interview.

This is a trend among private schools now that DC elementary schools are ending after 5th grade. The private schools want to attract the best students from those public schools. Sidwell now takes 16 in 6th and 16 in 7th, and GDS also has 6th as an entry year. Maret did not want to be left behind.
