Maybe because there are no good cleaners out there? Or people are hogging the good ones for themselves. ;P I have been trying to find one as well for Falls Church. Help!

I can recommend our cleaning lady Carmelina, [phone]. She cleans our Mclean house on a bi-weekly basis. She is very sweet, hardworking and does a great job.

She told me that when she was a child in El Salvador, school education was not mandatory and children could go to school only if their parents had time to drop them off or bother to sign them up at all. Carmelina so much wanted to attend school that at 10 y.o. she entered into agreement with her parents, under which she got up at 4 a.m. every day to do the household chorus and in return her parents let her attend school. So apparently she has always been very hardworking, I like her a lot.

Because if you got yourself a subscription to Consumer Checkbook you could get the opinions of thousands of people instantly rather than asking here for a random opinion. This question is asked to death on the various forums.
