After care in MoCo

What is the average cost for 5 days a week aftercare? Does every school offer after care? Are there reduced rates for Title I schools?

Most of the MoCo schools have aftercare programs - check with your school (or search these forums) for details. I don't know what the average cost is across all the schools, but I pay about $550 for before/after care. We're not at a Title I school, but the program offers financial aid and accepts gov't subsidies.

We pay $560 a month for AM and PM.

Here are the rates at our moco elementary school (not title 1, but a focus school):

AM care only $335.00 per month per child
PM care only $420.00 per month per child
AM & PM care $495.00 per month per child

Not every school offers it. Up to the school. The program is actually paying to rent the space. The prices vary by program.

In addition to what the schools offer, there may be programs that pick up kids from the school and take them to an offsite location for aftercare. Call the school to get a list. fWIW, we paid $560 a month per kid for before care, aftercare, school,days off, half days and school winter and spring breaks. Aftercare alone was $400 a month, but you paid extra for school days off and breaks. I don't know the cost for those.
