Motorhome travel

We are thinking of renting a motorhome for a week after Thanksgiving and driving down to the Carolinas. We have never done it before (the motorhome I mean!), we are new to the US and was wondering if anybody has any tips, about the motorhome, the trip, where to stay/park, etc. any ideas welcome. We have two boys aged 3 and 5.

| Sadly, I can't offer any guidance w a motorhome. However, I did once go w a bunch a guys white-water rafting, and we rented an RV to get there. Massive mistake. It was 6 guys, one RV, and the toliet was shot about 3 hours into the trip. The entire things reeked to high heaven. |
