| Just joined yesterday, have been "talking" to a few people, but I am just not comfortable yet posting my picture online. Thoughts? |
Have to.
are you ugly or discrete?
| deal breaker. I'd think you were hiding something. |
I would be careful of people without a picture. You either post one or make it clear you're ready to email one once you're contacted.
| ahhh, damn it. |
| Most men would pass by a profile with no photo. Not saying it's right, but that's the way it is. I'm a woman and come to think of it, I would pass by a man's profile sans photo. |
| Plus, it's not like match where anyone could see it. Only your "matches" will. |
| hit submit too quickly. I 'm not ugly per se but I am by no means photogenic and don't have a picture more recent than from 10 yrs ago....My only photographers are 5 and 7 so...?ugh. |
Don't post an old picture; the other party might interpret that as negatively. If you are a 5-7, men who are way older and 0-0 will contact you. |
Get the 7 yr old to snap a pic or ask a friend or someone at the office. |
| On match you used to be able to show your photo only to people you contacted, so you could be discreet. I don't know how eharmony works but you have to show a recent photo to any person you want to consider you. |
