| Our school has three days blocked off for testing, is the test split up into 3 sections or do they just do different kids on different days? I'm hoping they split the test up to break up the day a bit. |
| It's split into 3 days for all kids. It's a test with 6 sub-sections. Two sub-sections a day. Takes about 45 min or so to administer each day. |
| Thanks, that makes me feel better for my kid. |
| Are test results expected back by the end of January? |
yes |
In theory. This past year, the cogat scores were received about 2 days before the deadline to refer or submit additional materials. |
| For those that have appealed with a WISC score- do you have it administered before you even get the eligibility letters, to have ready if needed? I am asking because - isn't there also a really short turnaround time for submitting appeals? Thanks. |
| Does anyone know which subtests are given on each day? |
| no, but I told my kids to tell me which ones they take today, so we can review the ones that are left for wed and thu |
| Did your school do any prep or sample questions at school? I assumed they would, but Ds said they did not at our school (at least not before today -- I wouldn't think they'd so them the day of the test). |
| Hi. I don't know what the school did. I practiced with them, I bought the practice test from mercer. |
| All classrooms in the county have to do a practice mini-section. It is very short. Your child may have not realized what it was or thought it was part of the real test. |
He said they did 2 samples. IS that it? |
| Ds said they had a practice folder with worksheets that had different types of problems. So they do have some practice time in school to understand the format and types of questions. |

19:48 here. It seems there are inequities in the school provided "prep.". It doesn't matter
much to me, but I wonder if that is part of the reason some schools have higher numbers of kids in the pool |
