Why didn't my CBEFM ask for a test on CD 10?

Anonymous
This is my second month using the clear blue easy fertility monitor. I am on cd 10 and this morning (Sun) I woke up later than usual and it did not ask for a test. Yesterday was my first high day and it listed today as high as well. I ovulate on Cd 14 or 15 and I'm charting. Did it not ask for a test because I woke up late (9:30 versus 6:30 normally)? I set my testing window at 8:00 or 8:30 and I thought that was enough time.

I am pretty sure I had a chemical last month (faint positive at 9dpo but negative after that and then an early period at cd25 when its always 27 or 28) so I'm not sure if this cycle will be off. I don't know what to think anymore. This is our 8th cycle charting. Is there any advice that all of you sage DCUMs can provide?

I think you should call the help number. The monitor should have asked you for a test. Even though you woke up late, it sounds like you were still in your 6 hr time window (3 hrs on either side from the time you set it. Are you temping? I would do an OPK in the afternoon.

This is OP. Thanks for responding PP, that was good advice. I think it was just a fluke. I did take an OPK on your recommendation but it was faint - this is why I started the monitor to begin with because I get days and days of faint OPKs but no real double line positive. Today's monitor asked me for a test and it was high and not peak and I am temping and my temp is pre-ovulation normal for me today. Looks like I'm still on my normal regular cycle so we'll see. Thanks again.

I used the monitor and the OPKs just to be sure. I also found that I needed to test in the morning and same evening for an OPK. the morning could be negative and then 10 hours later it was positive.
