Baby carrier for big boobs??

Anonymous
Nanny here- DC 2 is due next month and I'm trying to find a baby carrier that will work for big boobs? I'm a FF and carriers like the bjorn just do not work. I need to make things easy to carry the new nanny around because MB has DC 1 so scheduled and I have so many errands all the time. I'm hoping for something cozy where the baby can nap too? We have so many classes and it's going to be lot of waiting waiting around for DC 1. I wish MB would think of the baby and not have so many classes for DC 1 but whatever. Anyways, just needed suggestions for a carrier? Thank you so much!

Hahaha I meant to carry the new baby around, not the new nanny- oops!!

I'm large chested and I didn't have any problems with the Ergo.

The ergo? Okay great, thank you! I have only tried a bjorn and a couple sling type things.

Ditto the Ergo. I'm a size I/J while nursing and it is very comfortable.

Another vote for the Ergo.

Ergo for later. The first months only the Moby worked for us. I'm a size J and former nanny so I hear you.

On the schedule thing now that I'm a mom of 2 myself I can understand. You want to keep #2's routine as much as youcan close to normal and I bet she's asking you to do the errands because she wants to spend quality time with them when she's around.

Please try to understand

I would also say Moby for the newborn/smaller infant, and Ergo for later. Ergo works for newborn, too, (with a rolled up blanket or insert) but it's a little harder. Moby is more work to get on, though, and takes some practice. I have porn-star boobs while nursing (not even sure what size because they are so much larger after birth than I anticipated) and both of these work fine for me.

DD mom here, I love my Beco!

Beco gemini works well.

The Moby is soft and totally adjustable. It's a little bit of a pain to get on and off, but you can put it on at the beginning of the outing and just leave it on.

I also had a Beco and it worked well too (I have DDs but they were bigger when I was breastfeeding... more like Fs or Gs.)

Baby Ktan for under 3-4 mos.

F here. Ergo is great once the baby can hold his/her head up. I hated that infant insert thing because it's bulky and gets hot.

Moby is probably a good option. I didn't try a sling until DS was a little older, but I liked it and wish I'd started earlier.
