Has anyone been to her? Would you recommend her?
My DD saw her twice for Celiac Disease diagnosis and follow up. She performed an endoscopy at Georgetown and we saw her at her private office in Rockville (?). We had a positive experience.
She has been treating my 7 mo DS since he was 6 weeks old. He had gastric trouble and reflux as a newborn. We really like her a lot and she has made a tremendous impact in our DS's well being. We are continuing to see her for management of DS's reflux.
She is very good. My son saw her as an infant. She is very supportive of breastfeeding as well if the issue has to do with G.I. issues related to food sensitivities through breastmilk.
Both my girls have been to see her. my younger was just 5 months old. We had a positive experience as well. She seems reserved in her treatment options and sensible.
We took our daughter to see her at the recommendation of a friend. Did not love her bedside manner - she made a few snarky comments i.e. "Why is mom so upset that baby isn't perfect?" that turned us off from her.

We had a terrible, horrific experience with her that involved her screaming on the phone at me, not listening to anything I said, and her making a very snarky comment about my refusal to buy miralax because it was too expensive and they "make generic you know." (Aside, I never refused to buy miralax I just said it didn't work for my son." I could not recommend this doctor LESS.

Did not like her! DS has celiac. Disliked the billing department who submitted filing almost 2 years later to my insurance.
There is actually a dearth of good pediatric GI doctors in the area. |
