Sometimes I think you can look at someone and tell what month they were born in

Anonymous
Sounds weird, right? But have you ever looked a celebrity up on Wikipedia, saw their birth month and thought it fit their personality or demeanor?

It's weird but I have always thought this, even with just meeting a new acquaintance, friend, teacher.

pAm I the only one who notices this?

Why do you think that the month someone I born reflect their personality??

Very interesting, OP. I haven't ever thought about it before, but I'll take notice now. Probably something to do with the Zodiac signs.

OP here - I associate months with feelings same for numbers and things that I have to learn. Always have done this. For instance, every month has a different feeling to me and every number has a color. When I meet people sometimes the feel I get from them is similar to the feeling of a month. Sometimes it's related to personality, other times I can't put my finger on what it is. It's a coincidence but I still think its neat.

You have synesthesia, OP!

Well, sometimes you can. I would venture to guess about 1/12 of the time ...?

Aw man, I don't have this. I must have been doing something else when they were passing it out.

I had to Google this, but maybe I do. I relate to this quote, this happens often to me :
For example, if the many letters of a word (but especially the first letter) evoke the same color (say blue) and the word happens to be sea, they say a pleasing harmony between word and letter is set up that has great aesthetic appeal.

I do too! My chiropractor gets me when I describe pain in colors and sounds. Not everyone understands though. It's also how I remember people. She's so spiced pumpkin? He's a total evergreen.

I learned the term in a lit class in college and felt a little less odd about it.

OP, are you ambidextrous?

This is true for me :
In one common form of synesthesia, known as grapheme ? colorsynesthesia or color-graphemic synesthesia, letters or numbers are perceived as inherently colored, [7][8] while in ordinallinguistic personification, numbers, days ofthe week and months of the year evoke personalities. [9][10] In spatial-sequence, or number form synesthesia, numbers, months ofthe year,and/or days ofthe weekelicit precise locations in space (for example, 1980 may be "farther away" than 1990), or may have a (three-dimensional) viewofa year as a map(clockwise or counterclockwise). I never knew this was different. I thought everyone did this.
