| So people think the Elementary school car magnets are a bragging thing in a previous post. How do people feel about the sign outside of Marshall HS "#3 Va #55 in the nation"?? This is just in ONE report. There are several different reports. I'm all for a school that has showed tremendous improvement over the years. We SHOULD be proud! But I feel the sign could be a bit less aggressive/in your face. Like top 10 school in VA or top ranked in the nation.... You know like some of the Blue Ribbon schools have just a Blue Ribbon sign.... |

| I don't think people pay much attention to that sign, even when stuck in traffic on Route 7 near Marshall. |

| No one thinks twice about the schools that have governor's award banners or blue ribbon school banners. And no one would think twice if TJ had a similar sign out front. It really doesn't bother me. Let them be proud of their school. |

Here are the margins by which Marshall has lost all its football games this season: 47-7, 31-7, 45-25, 58-8 and 42-6.
And you want to deny them the right to celebrate this? Sheesh. Some folks have no mercy. |
