Romney vs. Obama = Total Annihilation. Almost painful to watch. ouch

Anonymous
It's painful to see Romney annihilate Obama so badly. But it is what it is.

Obama is a failure, and an ideologue with mere prittle, no practice. Romney is a businessman. Of course Romney would win this debate. Obama did add more debt to our deficit than every president combined in history. Our economy does still suck. Yet Obama did promise the world, deficit reduction, etc. All phony crap.

Plus, might I add that he escalated a war, never closed gitmo as promised, he did nada about the BP oil spill but rather continued his vacay, and now the arab world is in chaos in what he calls a "spring" and he paved the way for sharia law and the muslim brotherhood over there (yippie!).

Complete failure, complete annihilation.

And FYI Obama, tax revenues increase when the economy has growth. Raising taxes is not the only way to raise tax revenue. Secondly, middle class Americans pay a scintilla of individual income taxes, so it is not necessary to raise their taxes. Go take 30 credits of tax law, and then come talk to me.

As much as I hate to admit it Obama got steamrolled. He has got to come back swinging.

I think that this is Obama's Nixon moment

I don't know what debate you guys were watching, but I thought both of them were sub-par. I think our expectations were so low for Romney that his less-sub-par performance was surprising.

To clarify, Obama is Nixon in the analogy?

Romney voter here - yes I agree this one went to Romney. But I also realize that Obama will perform better than he did tonight when we get to the debate that covers national security. He'll have to seriously address their poor handling of the embassy attack, but he has time to work on his message on that topic.

Obama supporter. Painful to watch. Romney creamed both him and Jim Lehr

OP again - I forgot to mention the murder of our Ambassador and his failure to do anything but essentially extend apologies for the freakin video OMG. If I were the widow, I would be thoroughly disgusted with the administration.

this. I thought the whole thing was god awful. Neither of them made any sense and just talked in circles. And Lehrer was horrific.

Democrat or Republican, I don't know how you could watch that debate and not see Romney as the clear winner.

Given that first debates decide the winner of every election we can clearly say Romney will win in the fall.

Romney lied the whole way through the debate and flip flopped over and over. It's hard to deal with that. But, Obama should be use to those lying sacks of shit by now. it didn't change my mind.

People on here kept saying how Obama would cream Romney in a debate. But everyone forgets that Obama isn't used to being challenged. He acts like a spoiled child when he is. He can't debate.
