| What's the deal with these? Is this the new version of "my kid is an honor student at..."? I kind of chuckle when I see them...nothing wrong with a little school pride but it's not the Ivy League (yet!) |
My first grader keeps asking me to put one on my car . I told him I don't have one and they don't make them anymore. He told me "yes you have one. It was in our first day packet last year." I just replied 'oh'. He hadn't asked again and it's been a week. I am hoping I'm good.
I am anti-car sticker of any kind...and anti-vanity plates. |
| The kids love them. I don't have one but my kids have asked. |
It's not bragging, it's just self-identifying and "personalizing" your car to reflect your community, interests, etc. |
this. it gives money to the pta and my kid got excited about it. |
+1 I'd rather buy an inexpensive car magnet and have my kid smile versus buy gift wrap or cookie dough. |
| I used to think they were dumb, but now that I see how excited it makes my kids, raises money for the PTA, and makes/identifies us as part of our little school community, I kinda like them. |
| My kids haven't asked, but I would put it in my car in a heartbeat if it made my kid happy. It's a pretty minor thing to do for your kid if they like it. |
| We get it and then stick it on the fridge. Who said it needs to go on the car? |
| I had one, but lost it in the car wash. It's $5. Helps raise funds. Associates you with a community. Makes kid happy. Don't see a lot of cons to argument. |
| I don't know much about Tuckahoe, but I know that it Rocks! |
| I'm with 22:05 - just don't like putting stuff on my car. In general I find the magnets a little silly. (but totally fine if they make other people happy) |
| I like them. |

You beat me to it! |
