What kind of socks do you wear with your ballet flats when you wear pants or jeans?
None
Same as PP.
If I do, I wear the socks that just cover your heel, toes, and sole. Kind of like what you might use to try on shoes at the store. They can't be seen under my flats.
What else can I wear with skinny jeans, if it's not boot weather, I need socks, and I want to be able to walk a lot (i.e., not heels)?
Converse. They have the added effect of making me feel like a happy kid.
No socks.
I wear nude knee-high nylons with my flats and pants. I like to think they pass as "no socks" but if I'm wrong ... well, I'm comfy and my shoes don't stink.
For those who won't wear socks with flats -- do you only wear boots in the winter?
|
No socks with ballet flats, unless you can't see them (nude nylons or "no-show"/liner socks). If your ankles need more warmth, it is time to wear boots or to wear loafers or something with a much higher vamp.
I mostly wear boots in the winter time. I find them really comfy. I also have Merrell's (Encore Ice or Chill?), and old-school Bass loafers for weekends. Personally, I find it easier to wear boots, as then I don't have to think as much about matching my socks to my pants or shoes. Laziness wins. |
