My dream: P/T infant day care b/n Silver Spring & Chevy Chase

I will be due in February 2009 and needing day care by May. I have just begun looking for day care options and am completely disheartened and stressed-out. Went to Childtime in Bethesda but too $$$ and saw Quality Time in Silver Spring today but I wasn't crazy about that. I would love to find a situation, either in-home day care or a nanny share in which I can find part time care. Does anyone have any ideas or names they could pass along??

We'd love to find the exact same thing... you might try Children in the Shoe in Bethesda. I think they do PT slots. We got off their waitlist with #1 after about 6mos, but chose a different daycare that was closer to work. We may take advantage of our sibling preference there for #2, but since #1 will be starting at the local elementary school in fall 09, I'm hoping to find something closer to home. Good luck!

We are in Silver Spring and are considering a nanny share starting March or April. Our son will be 7-8 months old and we need full time care.
