Same symptoms each pregnancy?

Anonymous
AF is due in two days and if I could curtail the queesiness long enough, I might go ahead and take a hpt.
Interestingly enough, nausea is my only symptom (albeit strong enough to count twice).
I was preggo once before (for about a month) and felt different symptoms: no nausea this early and super tender nipples... but not this time.

Is that unusual? I would assume women experience the same symptoms each pregnancy.

My symptoms were very different for both of my pregnancies (and both carried to term). Not unusual at all.

Good luck to you!

I had different symptoms each pregnancy and various degrees of horribleness of each symptom for each pregnancy. Never the same. This time around I am very bloated, do not want to eat but not sick as much as just feeling blah to food, and boobs hurt but are not swollen and in pain. Last time I had HUGE boobs and no morning sickness.

I just got a positive pregnancy test this past weekend, but I SWORE to my husband i wasn't pregnant b/c I feel so different than with #1. I was totally exhausted and nauseous with #1 right away (like within days of conception), and now at 4.5 weeks along, I still don't feel all that different... just a touch of nausea and starting to feel more tired, but that's about it.

Out of curiosity - were your children the same sex or different? Just wondering if boys "decrease" some of the symptoms.

15:55 here. Yes, my symptoms were less severe with the boy. Nauseous, but only threw up a few times a week (vs many times a day). No splitting headaches. Able to function. The symptoms with my girl were absolutely horrible.

3rd trimester, I had heartburn, which I didn't have with my girl. I knew it would be a boy because I felt sooo different the entire pregnancy.

However, I know some people who have had easy girl and boy pregnancies.

OP here.
I thought I was imagining nausea a week and a half ago, which would have been just post ovulation. So thanks to 20:49 for sharing she had the same symptoms.

I've taken three tests in the past 24 hours: 1 showed an extremely faint line within 3 minutes; the second showed a faint line but only after 10 minutes (may not be accurate) and the third showed nothing at all. Interestingly enough, last night was my first break from nausea and I enjoyed my first full meal in days. (Now I am worrying that it was too early to test afterall and may be 'going away.')

Wait and test first thing weds morning. Results tend to be better with your first pee of the day.

My nausea stopped on a dime the other night and I have been feeling PMSy for a couple of days.
AF should come any day, so I'll just have to wait it out.

Looks like I'll head back to the TTC forum
