DS's hoodie bled dye in a load of laundry

(even though it had been washed before) and DH's favorite print shirt (white background) is pink.

What products/processes do you recommend trying to fix this?

Thanks.

Going to the store and buying a new shirt. Sorry, OP.

Why are you mixing white or light colored items with other colors? Laundry 101, wash white and light colors together , eash dark clothes separately and always wash reds separately.

OP here. That's helpful.

I'm familiar with Laundry 101. I made a mistake. I'm asking for help here and your recrimination is useless and irritating. So please go away unless you have USEFUL input.

OK, I'll try. Let shirt soak in COLD water with Cascade DW soap, however, as the shirt isn't all white, it may not work. This has worked for me when DH washed clothes once and didn't sort, though I have always believed he did it on purpose hopin

OP here. Thanks.

I found some products made by RIT and Carbona online, and the RIT one looks promising. I'll give it a try and report back.

Rewash all the whites using a nonchlorine bleach or a cup of white distilled vinegar in addition to your regular laundry detergent. Do this BEFORE you put the clothes in the dryer.

If you have already dried the clothing or the dye transfer is heavy, you will need to take time to soak the clothing before rewashing. Mix a solution of oxygen-based bleach (Clorox 2, OxiClean or Tide Stain Release) and warm water following the package directions. Submerge the stained items and allow them to soak for 8 hours. Check the clothes and if the dye stains are gone, wash as usual. If they remain, soak for another 8 hours with a fresh solution and then wash.

Spray with Spray n' Wash, let sit for half hour and then wash in cold with detergent. Do not put in dryer unless all the unwanted dye is gone or you will set the stain. Repeat as necessary.

Thanks. I've tried a rewash per info found on the Internet, with no results. So the affected clothing is sitting in a warm-water OxiClean solution - if that doesn't do it, I'll try the RIT product.
