Let's play "What's Wrong with this House"

I love how the listing says "Wont last long." It's been on and off the market multiple times over the past 3 years. I think the 1 bathroom is killing it.

1092 sqft / 0.14 acre

I wouldn't want my dog by himself in those confined spaces

Been on the market nearly 2 years now. Way overpriced. Most houses in the area are $1.0-1.5mln range and those are new tear-downs.

Must be something we can't see in those pictures. I'm thinking it is overpriced and the sellers aren't willing to accept the prices people are offering.

Sure, one bathroom is a problem, but plenty of other homes nearby sell with just one bathroom. Depending on the layout, you might be able to add a bathroom by bumping out a little.

Is there a basement? I couldn't tell.

This house has been on and off the market forever. I'm guessing because its only 3 bedrooms for $1.5? And I believe it used to be listed for much more. It's also on a pretty main corner, but still. I figure there has to be some issue with the sellers. A divorce, perhaps?

That Arlington house is super dated and the rooms are tiny. The kitchen is horrendous. Mirrored closet doors? Paneling? The back yard is strange and has no privacy.

And forgot to add, it's on a busy street.

It is on Sycamore, so supremely busy street.

It has tear down potential but it's being marketed as a family home, which is a hard sell given the paradox of its location (near Metro but impossibly tiny).

I drive by this house everyday and noticed the same thing - it seems like it's always on the market! I remember watching it get renovated years ago also, but it is still so plain jane inside for the asking price - and the location is not great.

I like the interior of the one on Burdette. I think the home office looks like an efficient use of the space. I don't think it's terribly overpriced, but since it's not selling, maybe it is.

Yeah. Ugly rambler in Arlington. 'Nuff said.

Is a busy road, but other homes on Reno do sell quickly when they're priced correctly. Which this home is not.

Also, they have the distinction of having cleared their entire property of all trees in a neighborhood sought after for its trees. Since I HATE people who do that, I'm outing them and their house.

I love this house except that darn baby blue paint. Something about that fence though, the design irks me.

This is a property that obviously is out of my price range:

I wouldn't mind the distance if I had money.
