Anyone ever make the Nieman Marcus $250 cookie recipe?

I was given this recipe years before the internet but never tried them. Anyone ever actually made them? Are they worth the extra effort of blending the oatmeal?

| Yes and yes. So good. If you don't blend th oats its more lumpy (not chunky in a good way) and I think they are more dry that way. If you blend the oats, it's like a regular chocolate chip cookie with something that you can't place your finger on that makes it so good and different. |

Yes they are delicious especially with the grated chocolate in the batter. Been making them for years.
Blending the oatmeal isn't that time consuming. Happy baking! |

| yes I heard this story back in the days when email was new and the internet was not something everything used or had even heard of LOL so the story has been going around for awhile. The cookies are delicious. |
