As the school year moves forward, is your child falling back? Mounting essays, papers and writing assignments can be overwhelming, as writing is not explicitly taught in most schools. In my tutoring, I alleviate student anxiety by breaking down and clarifying each step in the writing process, from brainstorms and graphic organizers to outlines, drafts and edits.

My comprehensive approach focuses on improving both executive functioning (organization and time management) and subject matter engagement (pre-writing discussions to assess and improve topic understanding). By de-mystifying the process, I help struggling writers develop the skills and confidence they need to produce successful writing without fear.
