| The dry weather is coming and already my hands are dry and cracking. Anyone have any recommendations for a good industrial strength moisturizer? |
| I love L'Occitaine and Aveeno lotions - the difference is amazing. |
| The Caudalie one in a tube from Sephora is the greatest. Non-greasy with no strong scent. |
| Eucerin |
| Neutrogena in the tube. |
| JR Watkins makes this amazing salve they sell at Cracker Barrel (I know, I know) but it is awesome. I use it morning and night (and after bathing) on my hands, feet and elbows and they all feel like a baby's butt. Swear to God. |
+1 especially if its the one made by ROC sold in Europe. Delicious. |
| Kiehls is the best. I've tried them all, and this is hands down the best. |

| I swear by the Aveeno lotion made especially for hands. |
Beware the eucerin if you have a sensitivity to lanolin. Same for some of the Kiehls products. |
|
Prevention: drink lots of water.
Prevention 2: Cetaphil Daily Advance after every handwashing. Cure: the lanolin they gave me in the hospital for nursing, the stuff in the purple tube. Slather some of that on before bed, and things are much better by morning. |
| My hands were severely dry one winter (like I was getting a paper cut every time I touched paper). I used the Neutrogena in a plastic tube and thought I was going to die - it stung like crazy, even after I tried desperately to wash it off. |
| Slather them in Aquaphor and put on a pair of those cotton spa gloves overnight. Your hands will feel and look much better the next day. |

All the moisturizers listed above contain alcohol. Alcohol is drying. |
