Writopia Lab opening new location in Falls Church

Hello DCUM community,
I just wanted to let you know that, due to popular demand, we have now opened a new branch of our award-winning creative writing nonprofit organization, Writopia Lab (www.WritopiaLab.org), in Falls Church. Our after-school and weekend workshops will be hosted by the Christ Crossman United Methodist Church at the intersection of N. Washington St. and Columbia St. Fall workshops begin October 1 and will run weekly after-school on the following days: Wednesday 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM Ages: Teens Thursday 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM Ages: 11 to 13 Friday 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM Ages: 8 to 10 We will add more workshops through the course of the school year and summer. Writopia Lab has been operating locally for three years now, and we have worked with writers from over 220 schools around Greater Washington. We also administer the local region for the Scholastic Writing Awards (www.artandwriting.org), which is the country's largest, longest-running, most prestigious writing program for teens.
