Favorite apple recipes?

We went apple picking yesterday (Homestead farm) and got more apples than planned

Made apple crisp last night and working on a crockpot apple butter batch right now. I have some other plans but would love any of your favorite apple recipes. Thanks!

For any recipe that involves browning or caramelizing onions, you can add in slivered apples as well, and it will be even sweeter. 1 part apples to 2 parts onions is a good mix.

I like this with German-style sausages for dinner, or with liver.

We did the same thing about 3 weeks ago. The supply is finally dwindling. We made apple sauce, kabobs with pork chops and apples, apple muffins, and apply crisp.

They are also good chopped up in pancakes. Crockpot apple sauce is great too, uses a ton, and freezes well.

Please share your recipe for crock pot applesauce. I tried the stovetop method, and I think I put in too much water. Dd did not like it at all.

German Apple Cake:

I make this on a large tray (like a sheet cake) though instead of the Bundt version.
