| I'm sorry if this is too personal a question, but what do you eat to help keep your bowel movements solid and shaped? I've just recently started a mostly vegetarian diet, and I have also cut out all breads, pastas, cereals, wheat products, etc. So my diet is mainly vegetables and fruits, hummus, nut butters, chicken, fish, eggs, and cheese. In the past, I think the breads and starches were the foods that keep things regular...lately, my BMs have been, er, messy (again, sorry). If you eat vegetarian or vegan and you also stay away from carbs, what do you eat to keep things firmed up? TIA. |
