Does anyone have any recommendations on musical instrument rentals in the Bethesda area for a clarinet? TIA! |
Music and Arts in Rockville.
It's not the cheapest way to go but it's good to rent for a bit to make sure it will be used. Clarinets are easy to find for sale on Craigs List and it's ultimately much more affordable to go that way. |
If you don't mind traveling a little, L&L (in Gaithersburg, just off 355) specializes in winds and we've been pleased with them.

Chuck Levin music store in Wheaton.

Chuck Levin's will give you the best price with the best service. Great mom and pop music store, not a chain. |
Dale Music in Silver Spring was great for us. Not too expensive, and you could apply the rental fee to the purchase of an instrument within one year. |

Another vote for Chuck Levin-- great service, and by far lowest price that I found in the area |
OP here. I received a postcard from Concord Music advertising their instruments. Any feedback on them? I will look into some of the other recommendations. Thanks very much. |
Chuck Levin's is the best! Plus it is just a fun store. |
Chuck Levin's, mos def. |
+1 |
I love L&L. Our music teacher recommended them for my son's sax. They have a great rent to own program. Highly recommend them. |
Chuck Levins also... my dad plays clarinet, so he called a few stores for us to check out the types of clarinets used, etc. He said Chuck Levin's knew what they were talking about, used clarinets that are not the cheapest (good, solid, instruments) and the price was the best. And they are really nice! |
