| I like them both-can't decide which one to pick. |
| Outback |
| We like the Forester, although ours is a few years old now. It's a little shorter, which I like, and a little higher, which is also nice (don't have to go up or down to get in and out of the car). YMMV |
| (by "shorter" I mean bumper-to-bumper) |
| I got Outback because Forester didn't have much storage. Same mpg the year I got my car so there was no reason to get a smaller car. |
| oMG - you must be a terrible driver. All Subaru and Prius drivers can't drive. |
| I really like our Outback! |
This is the most ridiculous generalization I have ever heard. |
| outback was better with 2 car seats and hope to get a third person in the back. If you don't have that consideration, i'd go for the forrester. Handles much better. both are nice though. I am really happy with the outback. |
| From a purely aesthetic view, I think the Forester is fugly and the Outback is pretty decent looking. |
I'm a PP with an Outback and I have to agree that the Forrester isn't that attractive to me. We liked the way the Outback looked. We also ended up with a 4 cyl and love the good gas mileage! Handles great also, but I never test drove a Forrester. |
LOL I must be awful then. We have both a Prius and a Subaru. |
|
Outback has more cargo room. Since I have two dogs, that was important to me.
I think the Outback is more attractive, too. Test drive both. See which one has the features and feel that you prefer. Doing a quick compare at Edmunds.com, it seems that they are at similar price points. |
| The Outback costs more. OP, what is your budget? |
really? A few years ago the outback just looked like a station wagon, while the forester looked like a reasonably sized SUV, but it certainly wasn't ugly. Haven't kept up on recent models though. |
