I'm chalking this up to new-mom brain, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what I need to bathe the baby.
Once the sponge-bath phase is gone, do I need a baby tub that will fit in my sink, or in the bathtub? How long do those usually last before you move on to a baby seat in the bathtub? and how long do those last until baby is in the bathtub without a support seat or something? TIA! |

Get this one:
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2404856 I love it - I started with a different one that my DD outgrew very quickly. The shape of the moulding on this one is much better. It just sets in your regular bath tub. Depending on how small your baby is, you may want to put a spongy pad in it until the baby is a little bigger. But you don't need it, its up to you. They are $5 at Target. |

Okay, I disliked the EuroBath. Too bulky and no place to store it when it wasn't being used.
I just bathed with the baby--great bonding time--until she was old enough to sit on her own. Then she got one of those bathtub seat rings to sit in. |
| Our sinks worked best for all three. Easy height to work with and lots to look at! |
| I bathed my baby in the kitchen sink til she was about seven months old, and started trying to crawl out. Most of that time I used a little chaise longue type thing that I picked up for $3 at Babies R Us. It was bar none the best value for money of all my baby purchases. But by 5 months, she could sit up on her own, so I just sat her straight in the sink. Bonus to using the kitchen sink as a bathtub, it got scrubbed every day; it's never been so clean and shiny, before or since! |
| I used one of the fisher price bath tubs with the infant sling, but the sling got moldy so we took that out and now use one of big bear sponges in the little tub. It works well for us. |
| I did exactly what 19:22 did. |

We used this one (in the tub) until DS started wanted to sit up: http://www.amazon.com/Leachco-Safer-Bather-Infant-Bath/dp/B00005JIVI
It was great. We put it in the washer on gentle to keep it from smelling like mildew. |
