Umm, I actually think the original DCUM poster is was crazier. Mostly I think who cares and it's no ones business, but I would certainly think that dragging a child out of country to get circumcised is beyond the pale. Unless it's a religious thing.. which is seemed to not be by her post .. then yeah, I think circ lady is totally off her rocker.

The other lady is pretty ridiculous for taking the time to post on that. Who has time for that shit?

I'm anti circ and we didn't do it to DS. But yeah, that blog is just as crazy - in totally different ways, mind you - as the DCUM poster who wants to drag her newborn to the US to circ.

In fact, the blogger's strident, judgy tone seem a little familiar - I wonder if she wasn't just dropping by DCUM but is a DCUM regular? Hmmmm....Oh wait, there are tons of strident, judgy posters on DCUM....

My point is that as an atheist I am not an idiot and can identify that the Christian religon does not have anything to do with a jewish circumcision tradition performed by a small minority. Also I use science and believe that anti-circ verbal diarrhea people are ignorant, stupid and annoying.

OP, really, how dare you question the blog writer. She is far more important in her opinions on other people's kids and parenting than you or I will ever be so we should just bow down to her and respect her as our children's savior.

I don't get all the high and mighty parents who think only their way is right. Really, if they are such good parents and have all this time on their hands, why don't they do some good in the world and become foster parents.
