Baby book for a single parent

Anonymous
I am having a child alone and cant seem to find a baby book that isn't based on the traditional husband/wife family. Any suggestions in DC or online where I can get a more contemporary 2012 family baby book!?!?

Thanks! Josie

I ended up making a scrap book.

We're same sex parents who adopted and found that not only are all baby books based on the mom and dad family model, but also on the biological child model. I also made my own scrapbooks.

This lesbian family couldn't find one that didn't have a lot of stuff about dad. Here's what we're working on: keeping a running list of milestones, funny moments, etc. on my phone in Evernote (or really any electronic format would work) and then we're going to use that plus photos to put together a photobook with writing using Snapfish (online photo site). We might include some blank pages to paste in other mementos. I previously made a photobook for a vacation using Snapfish, and was really happy how it turned out. It's also really easy to make a few changes (or not) and order another book for grandparents, etc.

Oh, and congratulations!
