I just posted in the VA Public Schools forum http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/260180.page regarding Barrett Elementary in Arlington, but thought you may like to know that Broad Acres Elementary School is also one of the schools featured in the October issue of Parent Magazine. I have no idea, whether anyone on DCUM has kids there, and am not familiar with MD schools... but I'm happy to write more, if you are interested, or have a kid there, and don't get the magazine.
