Looking for good NON BUFFET Sunday Brunch

Anonymous
Grandma is having a significant birthday and we want to take her out for Sunday brunch. She is not a fan of buffets.

We live in Rockville, and will travel 30 mins or so for the right menu.

Thanks in Advance.

It's not overly expensive, but we like Eggspectation. There is one in Silver Spring near the intersection of Georgia Ave and Colesville Rd.

Black Market at Garrett Park. Although it may be a tad loud for Grandma. If you like the menu, make a reservation...the wait can be long.

Second this! Black Market Bistro brunch is amazing and its in Garrett Park. I am considering taking my grandma there for a milestone Bday brunch as well! They normally do not take reservations but maybe they will make an exception?

I second this. I really like this place.

Is Mrs. K's Tollhouse or whatever that place is called still around?

Morrison Clark Inn in DC. Sedate, quiet, attentive service. Went there for Easter brunch and it was delicous. Here's the menu:

OP here. I think we took Grandma to Black Market for her last milestone. Unfortunately, it's a little loud for her. We have done Founding Farmers for DH's birthday, and Grandma was less than thrilled. Does anyone know if Addie's does brunch?

Keep the suggestions coming though. I have a call in to Chef Geoff's in Rockville, but they may not have a brunch service up and running by the time I need it.

Matchbox, Addie's no but Black's in Bethesda does have brunch. The new Grilled Oyster Company in Potomac (Cabin John Mall) will be offering brunch. Black Salt and Et Voila on MacArthur. Redwood in Bethesda. My vote would be Palena Cafe - hands down the best brunch in the area.

No. Not special, not celebratory. That's a place for ordinary breakfast and brunch, not a celebration of a significant birthday.

Mrs. K's Toll House in Silver Spring has a brunch buffet, but maybe they would do a sit-down for you - worth a call. It is very senior citizen-friendly.
