Respectfully, you don’t have enough information available to you to be this smug. |
| Everybody is losing their jobs. Nobody has any money but the very wealthy. |
Yes, we do. |
Not true. BTW, if you took all the money from everyone and redistributed it evenly, in five years, those that had money before would have it again. It's 50% willpower and 50% discipline/initiative. I've seen the most brilliant people who live hand-to-mouth. I'll bet many of them are on DCUM. Oh wait, I'm wrong. Everyone on DCUM is a multi-millionaire, suave and 6+ feet tall. |
Ok Skippy. |
I fail to see why you’re arguing with my statement. America is hemorrhaging jobs. Because people are losing jobs, they have no money coming in. This is evident by car loan defaults, mortgage defaults, missed credit card payments, and student loan defaults. Hence, they don’t have money. There is nothing controversial in my statement; it’s backed by numerous articles and statistics; not by a fantasy of who is worthy of money like your argument. |
And the sad part is that there isn't a robust job market to tap into for those losing jobs. If you lose a job right now, you're in real trouble. It's spiraling. |
America has money, but Americans do not. We have a distorted K-shaped economy where the upper leg of the K is the 1% that keeps getting richer, while the lower leg is the rest of America is getting poorer. Since the 1960s we have seen a massive wealth redistribution. America has gotten more productive and profitable, but wages for the masses have stagnated. Wage disparities between the CEOs and other elites versus the working class have gotten hugely distorted. The working class has made them richer and richer but has gotten nothing out of it. It's leading to our ruin, but the rich control congress and the levers of power and continue to only care about themselves. |
Why did my electric bill go down? |
I have no effing clue. Tell me why mine went up. On avg, nationally electrical bills went up. Anecdote does not override statistics so stop acting like it does. Are you dumb? |
If true, most likely renewables augmenting the grid. |
because it was a mild month that didn't require heating or cooling |

This accounts for the "increase" in sales. It's misleading. Take a class in data analysis. |
